Bronze Service Roll Plaque
This custom bronze wall plaque was commissioned by the East Union Lutheran Church in Carver Minnesota, and created to honor Civil War Veterans.
150 years ago, local men of Minnesota answered the call to serve in the Civil War. 78 men from the small farming community of East Union, 10 of which did not return.
The East Union congregation installed this memorial plaque on their church, listing all 78 men who fought in the Civil War. Based on records most of the men were Swedish immigrants, some in their 40's and 50's.
At Artistic Bronze, we understand the sacrifice soldiers and family make in time of war, and the Civil War was an especially tragic conflict but many confederate soldiers fought with honor and valor.
